No. Delaware does not issue digital or downloadable learner's permits. The Delaware Mobile ID app is only for valid.
No. Delaware does not issue digital or downloadable learner's permits. The Delaware Mobile ID app is only for valid driver licenses and state ID cards, not for any type of learner's permit.
Delaware's Mobile ID program requires scanning a valid, physical driver license or state ID card to enroll. A Level 1 Learner's Permit, Driving Privilege Permit, or Driver Education Learner's Permit cannot be used for Mobile ID enrollment. State law requires you to present a physical driver license or permit when requested by law enforcement. The Mobile ID is a companion, not a legal replacement. See the Delaware Mobile ID FAQ PDF for enrollment details.
No Delaware learner's permit wallet credential is currently offered. Delaware Mobile ID is a separate mobile-ID system, and its enrollment rules require a valid Delaware driver license or state-issued photo ID rather than a Level One learner's permit.
Does my Delaware myDMV account show a digital copy of my learner's permit? myDMV can provide supported account and credential services, but Delaware does not list a downloadable learner's permit that replaces the physical permit. An online record or phone screenshot is not a legal substitute for the card you must carry.
Keep the physical permit with you when driving. A photo or scan on your phone is not a legal substitute for the permit card. If the physical card is damaged, keep it with you and arrange a duplicate if the damage affects readability or condition.
For Delaware permit process details, see the Delaware permit guide.
A digital image does not replace the physical permit. If you are stopped without the required permit, the consequences belong in the dedicated Forgot Permit While Driving guide. If the permit is lost or stolen, use the Lost / Stolen Permit replacement process instead of relying on a phone copy.
Once your Level 1 Learner's Permit converts to a Class D license after 12 months, you can enroll in Delaware Mobile ID.
Even with Mobile ID, you must still carry your physical license. The digital version does not replace the legal requirement to present the card.

"The AI mock tests were surprisingly realistic. The explanations for road signs helped me understand the logic, not just memorize. Passed my permit test on the first try!"
