Location-Specific Payment Limitations

What Payment Rules Should You Check Before Paying?

Keep the DOL permit charge separate from testing-provider charges.

• Initial permit: $35 paid for the DOL instruction-permit transaction.
• Knowledge test: Fee varies by approved testing location.
• Testing refunds and retests: Each approved school must publish its own refund and retesting policies.
• DOL card fees: Follow the online or office fee structure shown above.
